The basics--You can join the Jr. High Youth Group anytime!
Calling all 7th and 8th grade students.....The St. Teresa of Avila Jr. High Youth Group is looking for you!!! Our leaders will help you begin to see yourself as an important and even powerful disciple of Jesus when you are…with your friends …with strangers …in your home, …in school… in the world! Do you think we are crazy? Not feeling like a "powerful disciple" these days? Well, just come out to our meetings and we will show you just how easy discipling is!
We usually meet twice a month on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the STA Auditorium. Some of our activities, however, occur outside of this timeframe and location. If you haven't joined yet, please call Mrs. Sue Matour(610-666-5820, ext. 15) or send her an e-mail (stayg@comcast.net) and she'll send you a registration form. To help offset some of our expenses, there is a $25 registration fee.

BONFIRE NIGHT
We are looking for teenagers who love to have fun!!! If you are in 9th through 12th grade, want to catch up with old friends, and would like to meet some new friends, we have an exciting night planned. Join us for games, music and food on Wednesday, August 27 at the Matour's house
(4 Owl Road, Audubon) from 7 pm until 8:30 pm.
So that the Youth Ministry Team can plan accordingly (most importantly, how many marshmallows and chocolate bars to buy for the s'mores J), please contact Sue Matour by Monday, August 25th if you attend (610-666-5820, ext. 15 or stayg@comcast.net).
Members of the STA Youth Group had the opportunity to get to know Pope Benedict XVI at the local celebration of World Youth Day at the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in Doylestown on July 19/20. The weekend began with a 2.5-mile pilgrimage to the Shrine and included lots of great music, a keynote address by Todd Lemieux, co-aut
hor of the book, 100 Things Every Catholic Teen Should Know, a delayed broadcast of the Pope's message and Closing Mass from Sydney, Australia and mini-workshops on various topics including Padre Pio, Mother Teresa, and Father Pfeffer's Village. Teens from Pennsylvania and surrounding states (NJ, MD, CT, DE) participated in Eucharistic Adoration and Benediction, slept under the stars, and ended their time together with Sunday Mass at the Shrine. The weekend was filled with music and laughter and presented many opportunities for prayer, reflection, praise and worship, and camaradarie. We had a great time and would love to tell you all about it, so feel free to ask us how about our experience!!!
