Sacrament of Reconciliation: The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered on Saturdays at 3:15PM in our chapel or by appointment. All are encouraged to receive this sacrament on a frequent basis. If it is not possible for you to come to the chapel on a Saturday or if you would prefer to schedule an appointment, please contact Parish Office (610-666-5820) to make arrangements for an appointment with Fr. Wild.

Guidelines for Celebrating the Sacrament of Baptism at St. Teresa of Avila Parish
Pre-Jordan Class: Pre-Jordan is our Baptism preparation class. All parents presenting their first child for Baptism are required to take this class. Couples are encouraged to take this class prior to the birth of their baby. Please call the Parish Office to inquire about class dates and register.
Matrimony: Couples must make arrangements for matrimony in person with the pastor at least six months prior to date of their anticipated wedding ceremony. Please call the parish office to make an appointment with Fr. Wild. One of the parties must have family registered in the parish at the time the couple comes to make arrangements. Participation in a Pre-Marital Program is mandatory.
Annointing of the Sick: Parishioners who are serious ill or weakened by advanced age are encouraged to request the Sacrament of the Annointing of the Sick. Those entering the hospital for surgery are also invited to receive this sacrament. Please contact the parish office (610-666-5820) to request an annointing.
Holy Communion for Sick: Homebound sick and elderly parishioners may receive Holy Communion in their homes on a regular basis. Please contact the parish office (610-666-5820) to request that Holy Communion be brought to you or a loved one.
First Penance, First Holy Communion & Confirmation: All parish children are prepared for First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation through our Religious Education Program. Please contact Mrs. Erin Gauntner, Coordinator of Relgious Education, at 610-666-0167 or email@example.com for more information about preparation for First Penance and First Holy Communion for your children. Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA): RCIA is the official Church process for people interested in becoming members of the Catholic Church and it is also the process for adult Catholics to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Eucharist, or Confirmation . If you are interested in becoming Catholic or if you are a Catholic who has not receive all of your sacraments, please contact the Parish Office (610-666-5820) for more information about our RCIA program.
Families wishing to have a Funeral Mass at St. Teresa of Avila Church should have the
Funeral Director contact the Parish Office at 610-666-5820 to make the arrangements. Funerals are
held at 10:00AM at St. Teresa's Church. Viewings/Visitations may be held from 8:45AM to 9:45AM. They end
at 9:45AM in preparation for the Funeral Mass. One family member or
friend may speak in remembrance of the deceased prior to the Mass.
Remarks should be brief and should focus on the faith of the deceased.
Families are encouraged to choose the readings and hymns to be included in the Funeral Mass. In accordance with the guidelines of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, secular music is not permitted.
